Leigh is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University where
she majored in Comparative Area Studies and learned to speak
Japanese. Her interest in language, culture, and communications
led her to study abroad in both Japan and France. After college,
Leigh briefly worked in public relations for Asahi Homecast
Television in Los Angeles before moving to New York City to
become a reporter/producer for Fujisankei TV. She also
freelanced for Worldwide Television News before leaving
television to raise her three boys in Rumson, NJ.
